Number 5, goaltender Mitchell Puddester. Mitch was the Renegades starting goalie for nearly four seasons. Talented in net, he won the 2014-2015 Kirkland/Balsam Trophy for top goaltender in the St. John’s Junior Hockey League. Mitch also had a fiery temper that ignited quickly against opposing forwards and was known to jump in from time to time to defend his own teammates.
The fierce competitor went on to play in net with the Renegades-affiliate Conception Bay Senior Blues in the ECSHL.
