FUN FACT: Liam only started being an ice hockey goalie in Grade 11. He always wanted to be a goaltender, BUT played his minor hockey as a forward.
“My gym class needed a goalie one day, ” says Liam, “And I said ‘sure’; I haven’t taken the pads off since!” Liam got called up for high school hockey a couple weeks later when they needed a goalie. And the rest is history. Liam started his junior career with the Mount Pearl Junior Blades in 2019-2020, where he played three seasons, and last season the Renegades picked the talented netminder up in the SJJHL draft.
