Sarah Davis, the finest female hockey player to hail from this province, has been named the 2017-2018 Honorary Renegade. The pre-game ceremony and award presentation will take place with Sarah on Saturday 7pm, January 20th at the new CBS Arena. The Paradise native played her minor hockey in the CBRMHA and also went on to play on several all-star teams and the Holy Spirit High School Hockey team. Sarah starred with the University of Minnesota, winning a pair of NCAA National Championships whilst earning WCHA conference all-star honours. Recently, she played three years on Canada’s national women’s hockey team and for the Calgary Inferno of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League.
