Paradise bounced back to tie and then eventually take the lead 3-2 in the third period. CBR’s netminder Jordan Blackwood was solid in the net and kept his team in the game with several key saves. With Gill sitting in the penalty box, Nick Gosse tied it 3-3, scoring a short-handed goal and setting it up for Gill’s last-minute heroics. Down 4-3, Paradise pulled their goalie for an extra attacker and Gosse scored the empty netter for his second goal in the third period.
