6TH HONORARY RENEGADE 2017-2018
Sarah Davis, one of the finest female hockey players to come out of this province, was named the 6th Honorary Junior Renegade. The Paradise native played her minor hockey in the CBRMHA, and went on to play on several local all-star teams and the Holy Spirit High School Hockey Team. Sarah starred with the University of Minnesota, winning a pair of NCAA National Championships whilst earning WCHA conference all-star honours. She played 3 years on Canada’s National Women’s Hockey Team, and the road to the rink in Paradise is fittingly named after her, Sarah Davis Way. More recently, Sarah was part of the leadership group of NL United to win the province’s first Gold at the Women’s Ball Hockey Nationals in 2024.
