Keaton was the Renegades first pick in last year’s 2022-2023 league draft. It was in his third-year eligibility when the Happy Valley-Goose Bay native moved to St. John’s to go to MUN, before playing his rookie season in the SJJHL.
The versatile player started last season up front but quickly moved to defence, and finished with 14 points on 5 goals and 9 assists. He was even nominated as one of the Top Rookies at the team’s Annual Awards.
This year, Keaton is part of the team’s leadership core, and has been named as one of the assistant captains.
Congrats, Keaton.
