In April, the Town of Conception Bay South, in conjunction with the CB Senior Blues and the CBR Junior Renegades held a benefit hockey game to raise funds and assist in a small way with the tragedy that struck the community of Humboldt in Saskatchewan. A total of $3098.50 was raised with $2098.50 going the Humboldt Strong Community Foundation and $1000 to the Humboldt’s First Responders Fund. Attached is the letter that was sent to the Humboldt Strong Community Foundation from Mayor Terry French, Town of CBS, Pat Rose, Senior Blues Hockey Club, and Kevin Tobin, Junior Renegades Hockey Club.

On behalf of the Renegades executive, coaching staff, players and volunteers, we would like to thank all the fans and the local community who donated to this worthy cause.
